Our first mishap!!
After a pleasant walk through the city we stopped for a late lunch! After negotiating the menu and enjoying our lunch, we went to pay and our card did not work!!!😳
After handing Bears phone over as a form of security for the restaurant, we went to the bank, card did not work!! We had no other means to pay on us. Back to restaurant to explain that we needed to go the hostel to get money, at least a 40 min walk each way!! They were not impressed as they were about to close up!!!
After lots of hand signaling and attempting to explain that we will come back tomorrow and trying to get our phone back, which was touch and go, they let us go with phone in hand!!!
